The way of Calibrate:

Immerse
the electrode in pH6.86 (under 25Â°C) standard buffer solution of
phosphate, and gently shake the electrode.

Note:

1. Please
allow 1-3mm errors due to manual measurement.

First thing I did was calibrate it. I picked up
some distilled water, and measured out 250 mL into a glass jar. Luckily,
I have a little kitchen scale so I could be precise. I poured in the
6.86 solution, stirred until it dissolved, and placed the tip of the
meter into the solution. It measured nearly 7, and so I used the
screwdriver to adjust the levels on the back end of the meter. It’s easy
enough to do, but I did have to hold the tip of the meter into the
water with my right hand and make adjustments with my left while I was
bent over checking the reading until it hit 6.86. Then I cleaned off the
tip with the electrode sensor by dipping it into the more distilled
water, waited until it dried, and then went through the calibration
process again with the 4.01 buffer. This time it was a lot closer, but I
still had to make a minor adjustment, and then it was ready.
